Jiushui originates from Tianyi Spring, 1,100 m above the sea level, on the north side of Jufeng, which is the highest spring in Laoshan Mountain. Jiushui is also the upstream of Baisha River, the mother river of Laoshan Mountain. The content of negative oxygen ions in this area is up to 42000 per cm3, 20 times the national highest standard, so it is worthy of the name of "natural oxygen bar". The natural gallery of Jiushui with its beautiful landscape is well known at home and abroad. The scenery changes frequently and endlessly: the pictorial rocks everywhere are lifelike and vivid, the clear flowing water turning around thousands of times, the spray flying like snow, the pool water like transparent jade. Stepping into such a natural gallery, tourists become figures in the pictures unconsciously.

Transport:

You can drive off the Qingdao-Yinchuan Expressway from the exit of Licun, go along Jiushui East Road, Binhai Road, Jiushui Tourist Road till Jiushui Tourist Service Center, then take the sightseeing bus to get into the scenic spot;

You can take No.619 or No.639 bus to Wolong Village, then take the sightseeing bus to get into the scenic spot.

You can take Metro Line 11 to Beijiushui Station, then buy a ticket at the interchange center and take the sightseeing bus to get into the scenic spot.

Main tourist route of Jiushui: Laoshan Parking Lot – wooden pier – Inner Sanshui – Wuji Pond – Ziqu Pond – Juhua Pond – Weizhu Temple – Liuyun Pavilion – Qingxin Pond – Chaoyin Waterfall – Yulin Gorge – Qishui Curtain – Big Dragon Gate – Lengcui Gorge – Buzhi Pond – Wuyi Pond – Deyi Pond – Deyu Pond – Youjian Pond. The main attractions of "nine waters and eighteen ponds" and various pictorial rocks gather on this route. If your physical condition allows, you can follow the circle line and the whole journey takes about 2.5 hours.
